Frequently Asked Questions
What if I can’t attend these dates? The two dates are July 21/22 – Perth and August 26/27 – Melbourne. You’re welcome to attend either (or both!) but please be aware, this is a one-off event at this stage, I don’t know when and if I will be running it again.
Are there payment plans? Yes, if you prefer a payment plan, we split it into 4 x payments of $225 each for the earlybird payment, or 4 x payments of $260 after the earlybird finishes (end of April for Perth, end of May for Melbourne).
Do you offer refunds? Refunds aren’t possible if you change your mind or can’t attend after purchasing your ticket, but I’m happy to help you advertise your ticket for resale if something happens and you can’t come.
What if I have special food needs? No problem! Our caterers are happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements, please let us know on the registration form.
What to wear? You can wear jeans and boots, or an evening gown, or a unicorn onesie, I really don’t mind, but I’m likely to be in jeans and boots, because well, we’re horse people!
Do you need special assistance? If you have a special need, like hearing or vision impairment, and want to bring along a translator or assistant, please just let me know, we can accommodate an extra person to support you.
Do I need to stay overnight? No, you don’t HAVE to. If you live close-by to the venue, no worries, you can just find your way to the event each day and go home in the evening. If you don’t live close by, you can stay at the venue, or find something else nearby if you prefer. Both Melbourne and Perth venues are in areas that have quite a few accommodation options nearby. You will need to book and pay for your own accommodation.

Am I going to get lost in a sea of people? You’re not going to get lost or forgotten, I’m limiting numbers to only 20 people for that very reason.
What to bring? If you have one, bring a laptop or ipad or device that you can use to look things up for your own business (so make sure you have your passwords for things) Or if you run your business from your phone, I’m guessing that was coming with you anyways…
For the profit module of the program, it would be really beneficial for you to have access to your figures. Don’t freak out, it doesn’t matter how ‘good’ you are at keeping up with figures, but you’re going to get the best out of this session if you can do some mathsing on the spot. This is going to help you get way better at being across your figures, so you are not expected to be on top of things already.
* So, if you have one, bring a detailed profit and loss statement.
* If you keep records by hand, bring that book/sheet/whatever.
* If you don’t have any records yet, you could bring the last 3 – 6 bank statements.
* If you haven’t started, then we can work with that too.

Hi, I’m Melody Semmler. When I started my own product based business nearly 20 years ago, it was way harder than I first imagined. I was alone, had to do EVERYTHING myself, and I was lost more than I was found.
The business was not an overnight success, in fact I struggled for the first 3-4 years in that business, until I took a step back and decided it was time to make some big changes. By the time I sold that business 11 years after I started it, it was a 6 figure, award winning, household name in the equine industry.
With over 25 years expertise in marketing, branding, copywriting, web and graphic design, along with some savvy business methods, I am a down-to-earth, real live person, that has been, and is, right on your level. I don’t ‘do’ fancy jargon and terminology to impress, and I explain things simply enough without making anyone feel like an idiot for asking.
I’m here to help whenever you are ready to jump onboard and gallop off into the sunset.
